Building Conservation

We have managed the refurbishment of many historically important buildings throughout the country for commercial and private clients.  Our associate director represents the RICS for Scotland on the national board of the RICS Building Conservation Forum and is accredited in building conservation, which enables our practice to undertake work for The Landmark Trust and The National Trust for Scotland.

All grant funded projects require to be managed by an accredited building conservation professional.  Our Associate Director, Keith Dyer has undertaken grant funded projects with the support of Historic Scotland and work with skilled contractors who take pride in the standard of work.

Our knowledge of the planning process and traditional materials is used to guide clients through the legislative process and ensures the appropriate materials are used, where necessary to retain the character of historically important buildings.  We believe that with a pragmatic approach the sympathetic introduction of high quality modern materials and services can be introduced to enhance all types of properties.
